Newsletter Vol. 1, Issue 13

Saturday's Success!

This week's final Farmers' Market was a huge success!  A constant stream of customers kept our vendors busy...and happy.  This week's sales numbers were the biggest ever, bringing our season total to over $27,000 in revenue!

And it's no wonder, with the amazing selection our market had to offer.  Saturday our customers had one last opportunity to enjoy the tantalizing display of wares.

One last chance to grab something spicy.

To savor something sweet.

To enjoy something fresh and crisp.

To enjoy the bounty of fall.

To take away something one-of-a-kind.

Or even snatch that last bag of worms.

Prize Drawing!
The market customers were excited to learn that they could enter this week's raffle drawing for free!  People crowded around the manager's table to put their names in before the cut-off time.  At 9:00, Paul put all the names in his hat, and Laura picked one (as you can see from the photo, she took great pains not to cheat!).  Nancy McKay won the prize bag full of goodies donated by all of the vendors.  Congratulations, Nancy!  She and her husband want to give a BIG "thank you" to all the market vendors for their generosity.

Many Thanks
And so we say goodbye to our wonderful friends at the market.  Thank you Paul, for being a great manager.

Thank you, Laura, for getting the market up and rolling.

Thank you Market Board officers and members for all your work.

Thank you, vendors, for the hours and hours of time and labor you put in.  And thank you, customers, for making the market a success.

Yes this is goodbye.  But it's just goodbye for a season, after all.  We'll all be back before you know it.
